Brief Job Description
Individuals at this job are responsible for performing different elements of data science. They are responsible for importing data (public / private, consumer / enterprise) from a variety of internal and external sources. They are responsible for preprocessing the data and performing exploratory analysis on it to derive insights. Their key responsibility is conducting research on different algorithmic models, modifying existing libraries or packages to optimize them and designing new algorithmic models based on requirements. They will need to have strong communication skills to work with stakeholders and decision makers across multiple teams to ensure timely release of applications.
